Work

As a Software Engineer at Pfizer, I specialize in managing and optimizing laboratory information management systems (LIMS). My role involves coding in LIMSBasic and SQL to develop and maintain custom functionalities within the Labware LIMS. I also handle support tickets, providing technical assistance and troubleshooting to resolve system issues promptly. Additionally, I work on enhancing Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs) by implementing new features and improvements, ensuring efficient and accurate data management for laboratory processes.

A significant part of my role involves working with cross-functional teams and business leads to align technical solutions with business needs. I lead monthly tech meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and upcoming projects, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged. I collaborate closely with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) to gather and understand stakeholder requirements, translating them into actionable technical tasks. This collaboration ensures that the solutions developed are both technically sound and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. My work is pivotal in maintaining the seamless operation of lab systems and supporting scientific research and development.
